I gave my first presentation at the Oregon Brain Injury conference and loved doing it but the funny thing that happened is that I am being evicted, from my apartment, kind of because of it. OK, this is how it went: I had an accident over 10 years ago, which caused permanent Brain Injury and since then I lost the very active life I use to have, the job, the ex and the house.  I have been working as hard as I can with my severe limitations but I am one of those people that have fallen through the cracks as far as being able to get the best treatment for my disability.  So I can create my art like crazy and literally have close of a million dollars of beaut...... I had a good reason. At first I was trying to think of a way to say everything that has happened in the last couple of days but that would take a miracle of my Brain Injury Disability being no more and that ain't going to happen anytime soon.  I think that is the first time I used the word ain't. Then I realized that this blog is un-censored so I might as well lay it all out with as much as I can remember.  This could take a while. Knock, knock, knock goes the door, after 7:00pm.  Peeking through the peephole I see two men in blue and in an instant I knew.  OMG, I rhymed.  I had gotten off the phone with Pat, who is suppose to be my Brain Injury Advocate but it turns out my huge crisis of possible eviction (got the notice put on my door) was important enough and she had one excuse after another and has not followed through on well over half of the things she says she will.  Very disappointed with her.  Anyway. What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you read this title?  Yep that is what I asked you.  First thing and don't be shy.  Is it there yet?  COME ON, it has to be.  Are you filtering your initial instinct?  Stop it then!
