Illustrators We Love (Absolutely And Truly Adorable!!!!)

Because I love this site and love what they do and are doing with spreading the word around of amazing artist is so many forms I am glad to have the opportunity to be able to re-post there daily post that I get from them straight in to my gmail.  Lucky me and lucky you since now I am posting them here.

No this is not some lame way for me in skating by and taking it easy in creating new post just for my blog here................ or is it.........  OK, maybe a little but really, for at least a couple of weeks now I have been wanting to figure out how to save all the wonderful emails I do get from them on a daily basis and only wish I had been doing it sooner but glad I am doing it now.

So I will probably be posting these past paragraphs for a little bit until I feel it is necessary not to do so and a link to StudioVox's site as you see below.

Allan Costa is a freelance illustrator focusing on visual development for animation, ranging between settings and characters, graduated from the University Mogi das Cruzes (UMC ) and has several training courses and knowledge in the illustration market. He has worked with print media through magazine publications such as "Strange World" and children's books by publisher Progressing.

Illustrator - Belgrade, Serbia
Artist Tihomir Čelanović is a talented and versatile illustrator who works hard to keep his work feeling new, “I believe it's clever if an artist is consistent and recognizable in style, but constant change is what keeps the "spark" fresh,” he says.   “Also, maintaining a touch of "undergroundism" helps from becoming an "obedient professional machine".

Born in 1977. in Belgrade, Serbia Tihomir grew up in Kotor, Montenegro,  and graduated in 2001 from the Faculty of applied arts and design in Belgrade. His works have been published in numerous magazines: “Politikin Zabavnik”, “Striper”, “Lavirint”, “Bager”, “Politika”, “Veliko Dvorište”, “MAXIM”, “Grafička Zavera”, “Strip Pressing”, “Strip Vilajet”, “Vreme”, “AARGH!” (Czech Republic), “NONZI” (Italy).

As he launched his career, in 2000 he won first prize with short comic “Equinox” at the “La cita 2000″ contest in Torino, Italy. In 2001 his Collection of short comics “Kfatoliperazus” was published in Italy by “Medicina Nucleare”. His first album “Eudora – Svitanjem počinje zvuk” was published by “MAH” 2002 and in November that same year by “Medicina Nucleare”. “Soleil editions” released an album “Trum et l’oeuf de Tai” written by Delphine Rieu in may 2005 in France. Illustrations for “Basne” by Radomir Putniković published by “Kreativni centar” won “Neven” in 2007.
Publisher “Septieme choc” from France released an album “TAXI”, based on characters from Luc Besson’s film.  The album was presented at Angoulême International Comics Festival in 2008 (Short Comic) “As if you didn’t know”.
He won first prize at 8th international comics festival in Belgrade in October 2010. “Le Diurne – Wolfel Von Ulf” was released in 2011 by “12Bis” (France), written by Eric Corbeyran, coloured by Nikola Vitković.

Sidonie Vidal

Artist, Sidonie Vidal recently finished her degree in character animation at The Animation Workshop in Denmark. Born in south of France, she began her studies in Science but once in college made a big shift to animation. “I've always loved drawing and acting out, telling stories and watching animation movies. This path seemed kind of made for me,” she says.

“I fell in love with animation! I found myself complete and happy doing it, I love the challenge it brings in my life everyday, I love the culture it gives me, the people I meet and the opportunities it brings to my future.  I hope to find a job I love in the industry, meet great people and travel to get various experiences.”

Illustrator - Rome, Italy
Benedetta Capriotti is a 25 years old freelance illustrator and character designer in Rome with an eye for fantasy and fairy-tales. She attended the International School of Comics in Rome where she studied Illustration and recently contributed to the creation of a calendar for M.E.D.U., an international solidarity association that aims to protect human rights. She works for private commissions and in a tattoo studio as concept designer.

Alexandra Tully

From an early age Artist, Alexandra Tully immersed herself in many creative areas and decided to focus on her long-standing passion for illustration and proudly earned a BA in illustration.  
“As a newbie freelance illustrator I am learning the ways of the industry and I’ve been building my portfolio since mid 2015,” she says.  “I have worked with a selection of different clients from across the world, from America to Australia. Specializing in 2D illustration and Character Design. I mainly work digitally using illustrator and photoshop to create my final designs but also enjoy dabbling with me traditional mediums such as inks and watercolor.”
