Because I love this site and love what they do and are doing with spreading the word around of amazing artist is so many forms I am glad to have the opportunity to be able to re-post there daily post that I get from them straight in to my gmail.  Lucky me and lucky you since now I am posting them here.

No this is not some lame way for me in skating by and taking it easy in creating new post just for my blog here................ or is it.........  OK, maybe a little but really, for at least a couple of weeks now I have been wanting to figure out how to save all the wonderful emails I do get from them on a daily basis and only wish I had been doing it sooner but glad I am doing it now.

So I will probably be posting these past paragraphs for a little bit until I feel it is necessary not to do so and a link to StudioVox's site as you see below.

This week, we're featuring the whimsical work of Artist Valerie Joy Lauria. Based in Forrest Hills, New York, Valerie creates adorable black and white drawings of mythical creatures that tickle your heart. 
“I love fantasy, so everything I do is with humor, whimsy, and is fantastical."
Artist Valerie began drawing and developing a love for the craft at an early age.  She went on to the Art Students League in New York, during the 1980's on scholarships, where she studied drawing and painting. 
Over the years her interests spread to digital photography, small sculptures, and currently, drawing. “I LOVE small detail, so everything I do is pretty small. I can't force the process, it has to come to me.  It is hard for me to do anything that isn't lighthearted. My high school art teacher told the class that if I tried to draw Dracula, it would come out looking like Snow White!!  LOL.”
“I have a number of interests, including animal advocacy, reading, collecting antique items, classical music and opera, and art. These are all part of my soul.”

Splice A Monkey, don't you see?!

Couldn't come up with anything clever to post so I searched.  Where is that spark.  My other blog, is that where.  Hhmmm.  Just checked it and saw from this one http://1year10000pieces1artist.blogspot.com/2014/02/just-like-original-10000-pieces.html This is what I wrote on February 8th, 2014 SPLICE A MONKEY Just Like The Original 10,000 Pieces there would be some days where I could only create 1 piece due to any of the follow reasons such as migraines, seizures, eeexxxtttrrreeemmmeee fatigue to the point your brain is shutting your body down within seconds (what else?) loss of equilibrium, short term memory problems (where was I), confusion, disorientation,increased tinnitus to the point it drowns out everything, (what is that?  I can't hear you) etc., etc., etc. Today I knew I had to look for a painting I had done on this day, whether it was from the original 10,000 pieces or something since then, and my mind new that my brain was still tired...
